This is the view out of my front door: showing Lookout Mountain and the steam that rises from our local saw mill.
I exhibited with the Western Heritage Artists at Western Art Week in Great Falls, Montana recently.
In Spearfish, an old rule of thumb, is not to put anything outside in the garden or planting beds until the snow is melted off of Crow Peak.
Symbolically, the bison is evident in the Native culture, and the most sacred of all was the white bison. Once the bison herds were driven to near extinction, this way of life ended.
