36” x 48” Watercolor on Ampersand Claybord

This is painted to be a horizontal composition, yet can be hung vertically. The infinity symbol is incorporated into the composition to symbolize humankind’s continuous interconnection throughout time.  Beads are artifacts through which early human migration and trade can be traced. Samples found in archaeological excavations provide evidence that beads created from natural elements in known global locations were transported great distances to new destinations. Later, glassmaking advances provide additional information about transactions between early world cultures that were known for making particular beads.  Framed in a deep ebony-stained oak frame, the overall measurements are 39”(W) x 51”(H) x 3.25”(D).
