During the initial COVID-19 pandemic shutdown, I undertook a series of paintings that I entitled “Isolation Sketches”.  To cope with my feelings of isolation and uncertainty while  “sheltering in place” in my home studio, a series of 90 original watercolor and ink sketches was created and nearly sold out through this website within three months! Perhaps the positive response I received from the series stands as testament to the human need for art and for nature, especially during times of trial.  By popular request, I am offering prints of six different images from the Isolation Sketch series of 2020 in order to recall the “unprecedented times” and how we were (and continue to be) “all in this together”!

This open edition signed giclée print comes matted in a plastic protective sleeve and retails for $30.00. This print is made with the highest quality archival ink and printed on acid free bamboo paper Hahnemühle Bamboo paper. The image is printed on 8 x 10″ paper with an image size of 4.82 x 6.75, and is placed in an 8 x 10″ mat that is ready to display in a standardized frame of your choice.  The image is also represented in a portfolio set of 6 images from the Isolation Sketch series that is offered for sale on this website.  Residents of South Dakota and those opting for South Dakota pick-up are subject to sales tax of 6.5%.  At checkout, purchaser can choose a $15.00 shipping and handling/insurance fee, or can select local pickup for free.  If opting for the $15.00 shipping fee, the artwork will arrive in an USPS priority envelope, and will be sent within 3 days of your order. If opting for local pickup, the artist’s studio is located within Artifacts Antiques and Art, 740 N.
