“Spearfish Canyon, Savoy”

My favorite spot in the Black Hills of South Dakota is Spearfish Canyon.  This miniature painting is of a favorite view.  It  is near Spearfish Falls and Roughlock Falls, in the area referred to as Savoy.  At Savoy is a wonderful place to stop for lunch: Latchstring Inn, and a wonderful place to stay for the night: Rim Rock Lodge.  This is the ideal “Stay-cation” for anyone looking for a uplifting weekend.  My artwork will be on display at Rim Rock Lodge from June 30 – 22.  There will be a special artist reception on July 7th…
