This watercolor painting on archival Ampersand Claybord depicts Spearfish Creek within Spearfish Canyon in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Painting with watercolor on claybord allows the artist to layer transparent washes of color to achieve a finished painting that glows. A final varnish finish to the painting protects the artwork and does not require the painting to be framed  behind glass. This artwork is framed in a wood mahogany finish frame. The painting is shipped well packed with bubble wrap and ships in a heavy cardboard box.  Residents of South Dakota and South Dakota pick-up are subject to sales tax of 6.5%.  At checkout, purchaser can opt for a $15.00 shipping and handling/insurance fee, or select local pickup for free. If opting for the $15.00 shipping fee, the artwork will ship out within 3 business days of your order. If opting for local pickup, the pickup location is the artist’s studio at 740 N.
