Rendezvous Remembered


“Rendezvous Remembered” 24 x 36” Watercolor on Clayboard The abundance of items which were freely traded is the inspiration for this painting. Beaver populated the west, and was in high demand in the East. Items such as trade beads and metal goods were of great desire barter goods. The initial exchange of cultures was a thing of wonder for both parties, and for awhile, it for this, it is worth remembering. Strikingly framed in an antiqued gold shadowbox frame that reflects on the gem-like quality of the glass beads. Face of the frame is 1 1/2" wide and is 2" deep. Packaged well and insured.
