About Bonnie and Her Artwork
I am both a professional visual artist and a fine arts educator, holding a PhD in Art History and Education from the University of Arizona. I meld being an artist and educator by exhibiting my artwork nationally and internationally, as well as teaching adult art education workshops at home and abroad.
My engagement in global travel impacts my art and prompts me to contemplate the interconnectedness of global culture. Many of my paintings examine the concept of barter amongst humankind as I explore the concept of trade items as currency.
